Sravan Chittupalli

Research Programmer and Analyst at CMU,
Robotics Institute.

Research: The goal of my work is to develop robust real-world percepton systems tailored for real-world applications to enable safe autonomous navigation with minimal human input. In my research journey I would like to address three important questions:

  1. How can we integrate data from different sensors to create systems that are resilient?
  2. Can we discover and understand a shared domain where all modalities complement and reinforce each other?
  3. How can we enhance the existing single modality models when multi-modal data is unavailable?

My research advisors are Dr. Dong Huang and Dr. Herman Herman, and our reaserch is graciously funded by National Robotics Engineering Center NREC through the US Army ATR-MCAS program.

Previously I recived my BTech in Electronics Engineering from VJTI in 2022. I was affiliated with Dalhousie University (Nova Scotia, Canada), Airpix Analytics and Hyperkurve LLC .
